What’s Happening in Science?

Sixth Grade

The sixth graders are continuing their quest of understanding the Earth’s Surface and how it evolved from the Geologic Time Scale, to the causes of Mass Erosion seen today.


Seventh Grade

Our seventh graders have finished covering cells and Photosynthesis and are now headed into heredity. Here the students will understand the Probability and Patterns of Inheritance.


Eighth Grade

The eighth grade class has begun their trip towards understanding Atoms and the Periodic Table. Why Scientist have arranged Elements is a certain order and what some of the Elements are used for in their everyday lives.

I have been at St. Linus for the past twelve years. I have been teaching for thirty-eight years. I received my Bachelor's degree from Quincy University and my Master's Degree from Concordia University. I have taught at a high school level for most of my teaching career and have been a head football coach, as well as a wrestling coach at the high school level.
