Reaching Conclusions with Peers

Two of the key concepts moving into more advanced mathematics are the least common multiple and the greatest common factor. The 6th graders spent a week exploring the concepts as word problems, relationships, and reasoning problems. The exploration included peer work, thought maps, and individual reflection.
