In 8th grade, we are working on our 9-11 unit. Students use their ThinkPads to analyze the interactive timeline of the September 11th attacks. In the timeline, they (the 9-11 Memorial) provide videos, pictures, and eyewitness accounts of each of the attacks. The 8th grade listens to each piece as they answer the questions together.
At the end of September, St. Linus will host a guest speaker to come talk to the 8th grade. He was at Ground Zero the day after the attacks.
