The lunch room monitors volunteer program is always looking for parents to lend a hand.
Annual Lunch Monitor Fee for Every Family
At the beginning of each school year every school family will be charged $40 toward our lunch monitor program through Smart Tuition.
Earning that Fee Back
Parents who volunteer are given a $5 credit for each lunch duty they serve. To earn back your full $40 lunch monitor fee your family must volunteer to monitor 8 lunch duties.
Lunchroom Duties
We have two lunch rooms at St. Linus School and the lunch monitors are needed to watch the kids in either the lower level or upper level lunch rooms. Lunch duty has two start times. The lower level lunch room is K-5. This room has two periods; the first period starts at 11:05 and ends at 11:48, and the second period starts at 11:48 and ends at 12:28. The upper level lunch is for grades 6-8. This starts at 11:48 and ends at 12:28. Volunteers are asked to work one lunch period. For every lunch period you get a $5 credit.
