Soccer makes it to the Championship!!!

Our 5th and 6th grade Soccer team made it to the Championship on Thursday night at Brother Rice!  The game was a nail biter right down to the end.  At the end of regulation the score was tied 1-1 we were headed for overtime.  Two overtimes later we were still tied.  The crowd was getting restless and the cold was seeping into our bones but we remained on the edge of our metal freezing cold seats.  We ended up in a shoot out and it went down to the last shooter and unfortunately we did not come out the winners.  St. Mary Star of the Sea was victorious on the field last night but our kids are the winners in our hearts.  We are so proud of all their hard work and the work of their coaches.  What a Great Night to be a Hawk!!!
