Many remember math classes as sitting in rows, taking notes and doing problem after problem. Today research shows that the best learning happens when working together and moving around. One way we do this in Middle School Math is with a scavenger hunt. Problems are hung around the room and each answer leads to a new problem.  The mathematical conversations are amazing and the willingness for the students to help one another is inspiring.
