Turkey Trot a Success!

This year’s Virtual 5K was a success!  We raised $13,552 for our Chromebook Initiative and the Erica Heilmann Scholarship!  This happened without soliciting sponsors and a shortened time to plan everything.  We were blessed with some amazing sponsors who came through even though we didn’t solicit them and of course all of you who registered for the race.  School families and parishioners came out in droves to support the 5K.   A shout out to the Leahy Family, Katie and Tom O’Halloran, Molly Mann, Running For Kicks, James Dunneback PC and Marist High School for their very generous sponsorships.  I would also like to thank my sister Hannah Hayes, Class of ’78, mother of two alumns and parishioner, and her committee, who took on the job of spearheading the 5K this year.  St. Linus is so lucky to have so many wonderful people looking out for us.
