Physical Education

Physical education is available for children in preschool through 8th grade at St. Linus School.  At each level students are exposed to thematic units that reinforce the Illinois Learning Standards for Physical Education and Health. Students are taught basic skills that encourage coordination, cooperation, and physical endurance in their classes.

At St. Linus School, intermediate and middle school students are given fitness challenge tests that measure their growing progress in the 1 mile run, 20 m pacer, sit ups, push ups, pull ups, flex arm hang, and sit and reach.
