Competitive Cheerleading is open to grades 5th thru 8th. Cheerleaders learn and practice a routine for competitions. Over the season, they create a cool bond with each other regardless of age. Team practices are normally 2 days a week, along with a 3rd practice for team tumbling. Practicing starts in the summer and competitions are mainly in December. All levels of skills are welcome. Cheerleaders increase skills as they go.
For the Fall of 2016, it is open to St. Linus school students who will be in grades 5th thru 8th next season. Any student participating on the competitive cheer squad must also register for football cheerleading.
Visit the St. Linus Athletic Club (SLAC) website for more information on our fall sports and to register online, or look for a school reach call and an announcement on Going Green for upcoming in person SLAC registration nights at the Linus School gym. Payment is due registration night. Personal checks or cash are accepted.
