Last week Mrs. Dougherty’s class finished their letter Ff unit and made Friendship Fruit Salad. The children learned that every person is unique and has special talents and gifts from God and that if we all work together and are good friends to each other, great things can happen! To help the children better understand this, we made “Friendship Fruit Salad” by adding something special from each child. Each child brought in a baggie of fruit and we added it all together and then enjoyed some delicious “friendship fruit salad!”
