Gratitude’s the Word!!!

I hope you are all keeping warm these days as we experience some unseasonably cold days.  The good news is things are nice and warm here at St. Linus.  Our theme this month is GRATITUDE.  The students have been working hard on showing their gratitude to each other and their teachers.  I hope they are showing you at home the same.  We at St. Linus have a lot to be thankful for.  We begin with our wonderful parents who sacrifice to send their children to a Catholic school.  We are so appreciative of this and of all the help you give us with coaching, volunteering and participating in our fundraisers.  We are thankful for our delightful children who make us smile each day and remind us of all the good there is in the world.  We are also thankful to our amazing faculty who work so hard each and every day to make sure our students get the best education.  They work hard each day to ensure that every student gets what they need academically and spiritually to allow them to grow into the best adults they can be.  Finally, I would like to thank our incredible parishioners who support us financially and spiritually.  We could not do this job without their support.  Under the guidance and example of Fr. Mark our St. Linus community really believes that St. Linus school is a mission of our parish and they prove that daily with their prayers and generous financial support.  Check the website for the link to parent teacher conferences it should be up by the end of the day today.  Don’t forget the Turkey Trot is tomorrow and I hope to see you all there.
