The Third Graders were looking up words in the dictionary to discover how many meanings a word can have. They were also using guide words to help them locate the list of words.
Students are looking up words using a Dictionary, and doing it the old fashioned way.
The students wanted to work with a dictionary.
Arrays helps students learn multiplication by drawing the number of row, then drawing the number of columns. An example would be 3 X 5. The picture would be 3 rows and 5 going across.
