Ponderings from the Principal’s office!

Well we certainly have been busy these last 4 weeks and now that the weather is getting better it is quite pleasant here at good old STL!  The Buona Beef lunches seem to be a hit.  We will continue to monitor how it is going and a new set of menus for November and December will be coming out at the beginning of next month.  Our Student Council and NJHS officers have many great ideas to promote school spirit and service throughout the community.  Our Hawktoberfest committee has been hard at work for months now and all their hard work will come to fruition this weekend.  Hawktoberfest is always a good time and this year promises to be just as much fun.  I have spent time in many of the classrooms and have really enjoyed what I have seen.  Our 8th graders and 2nd graders are preparing for sacraments and our 6th graders are getting used to life on the second floor in Junior High!  Next time you are here take look at our newly remodeled kitchen.  A big thank you to everyone who helped make a new kitchen a reality.  Our athletic program is underway for another great year.  Football, soccer, cheerleading and girls basketball are all going on right now.  If you get a chance drop by the gym or the field and watch our young people play their hearts out.  Ms. Hayes out!
