The winner of the Erica Heilmann Scholarship was announced in school on Friday, February 1st. Six 7th graders applied for the scholarship and all were very worthy. The judges took into consideration the applicant’s service, academics, leadership and spirituality as well as the quality of the essay that the applicant wrote. This year’s winner is Alan Treto. Alan’s family will receive $1,000 towards his 8th grade tuition next year. The money was from the 5K, which was one of the many ways Mrs. Heilmann was of service to the St. Linus community. Congratulations to Alan and his family on this wonderful honor.
