This year our Turkey Trot will be run in memory of our dear Erica Heilmann. Erica dedicated her life to volunteering at both the school and parish and touched the lives of most of our student body at Linus as well as many in the community. Erica participated in the 5K from the day it was created by heading the awards ceremony. This would be a fitting way to honor her for all she has done for us. Our wonderful 7th graders will also be given the opportunity to apply for a scholarship in Erica’s name to help with their 8th grade tuition. The application will include an essay about how they plan to continue Mrs. Heilmann’s years of dedicated service with service of their own. More details about the scholarship will be sent home with the 7th graders later. To join us go to www.stlinusoaklawn.org/gobblegobblerunorwobble5k. Prices go up Wednesday.
